What Does Your Warranty Cover?
WHAT DOES YOUR WARRANTY COVER?
Warranties covered by HBI Technologies (HBITech.com) provide support for a scale’s normal lifetime of use. Your scale should not perform inaccurately or incapably due to a manufacturing defect, design flaw or component failure. A normal lifetime of use refers to the product service life which is the length of time after being purchased that it is expected to perform adequately.
WHAT DOESN’T YOUR WARRANTY COVER?
Normal wear & tear, as well as user-caused damage to the scale exterior or internal components, are not covered under warranty. Any form of misuse, abuse or mistreatment to the scale will void the scale’s warranty.
Accessories such as bowls, trays, finishes, calibration weights, clasps, hinges, feet, AC adaptors and batteries are also not covered under warranty.
SHOULD YOU MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM?
Although the companies we support check every product for quality before it is sold, some aspects of production are beyond their control. If your scale is not performing accurately or capably due to a design or manufacturing defect, you may be entitled to a replacement scale. Go to our Warranty page to start a warranty claim.
